True Life Stories

Hello, and welcome to the True Life Story Contest.

The True Life Story Contest invites professional and amateur writers to submit manuscripts exploring the creative non-fiction form using themes of friendship, animals, Christmas, or amazing coincidences. For a description of creative non-fiction, and a brief note about who we are, see About.

This contest is open to anyone sixteen years of age or older who has a true life story they would like to share with the world. For a description of the rules of the contest, see Rules.

We are pleased to announce the winners for the contest ending March 31, 2007. To view the winning stories, click here.

Even though we can't award a prize to every good story, there are some we feel deserve "honourable mention", and we will be adding these to the winners page soon.

April 14, 2007

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the contest is being suspended for a year and the contest closing date of March 31, 2007 wil mark the end of regular contests for now. You may still submit stories if you wish, and they will be considered when the contest resumes.
